I went in blind to this one, outside of the over-the-top poster and the parody nature of the title. I have to admit it was a lot of fun, there were a few moments that dragged a little, but in general, the film was exactly what I would expect. It was a step above a direct-to-video comedy, and that’s not a knock on it. There are a lot of direct-to-video comedies that I enjoy; it’s just important to set your expectations realistically. You can’t think this will be an Oscar-level comedy, and you’ll enjoy it much more. Perspective is something a lot of people have issues with when watching movies.

The story was pretty straightforward and maybe a little predictable but more importantly, it was still fun to watch. The cast in this was pretty perfect; in my opinion, each one nailed their respective roles. It was odd because many of the cast seemed familiar to me, but I didn’t know where they were from until I looked them up. I would recommend this if you’re looking for an enjoyable comedy with some interesting twists.

The twist at the end of the film was entirely unexpected for me. I wasn’t expecting it to end this way at all. So that made the predictability of the rest of it go out the window. The film reminds me of one I watched some time ago, but I can’t remember what it was for the life of me. I’ve been thinking nonstop since last night when I finished this, and still nothing. I’m sure I’ll be doing something random a month from now, and it’ll instantly hit me out of nowhere.
